Winged beans or four-angled beans are tropical legume and grown in Southeast Asia and South Asia.

It can be eaten raw, boiled or in stir fries. I prefer to cook it in stir fries: stir fried with garlic or stir fried with sambal belacan (spicy chilli prawn paste).

Stir Fried Winged Beans with Garlic

Heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp of chopped garlic. Stir in winged beans and add salt to taste.
