My Little Corner of the World

I bought Chinese chives over the weekend and decided to make a savoury pancake today. I usually stir fry it with egg and eat it as a side dish with rice.

After washing the Chinese chives, it is still quite wet. I didn’t bother draining it and added the flour. After that, I added tablespoons of water into the bowl to mix and adjusted accordingly.

Recipe

Ingredients

4 tbsp cooking oil

100g chives

40g flour

Water

Pinch of salt

Method

1. Wash Chinese chives and cut it into pieces.

2. Add the flour into a bowel containing Chinese chives.

3. Mix it and add small amount of water (tablespoons) slowly.

4. Add pinch of salt

5. Heat up oil and pour in the batter mixture on a non stick pan

6. Spread the batter across the pan

7. Flip the pancake after a few minutes and it is done when it is slightly brown.
