Kiwi and pear oat crumble with greek yogurt and chia seeds.
Ingredients:
- Oats & ground oats
- Mixed nuts
- Butter
- Pear
- Kiwi Fruit
- Potato Starch/ Corn Starch
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- All spice
Kiwi and pear are in season and are really reasonably priced. Both the fruits are my least favourite. I decided to incorporate it into a healthy breakfast to go on a workday.
Method:

A. Oats mix
- Grind half the amount of oats.
- Rub butter into ground oats and set aside
B. Fruit mix
- Remove skin and cut it into pieces
- Place it into baking pan
- Add 1-2 tbs potato starch, sugar to taste, cinnamon, all spice and mix it.
C. Crumble
- Cover the fruit mix with oat mix
- Ensure the oats cover the fruit mix
Bake
- Oven setting: 180 degree celcius, Fan setting
- Duration: 30 min to 1 hour
Bake for 30 mins then check visually if oats are brown and taste if oats taste cook and fruits are of a desired consistency (softness)
If not ready check it at 10-15 min intervals
